The Dancing Stars Gala will incorporate 12 or more local celebrities committing to learning to dance and undergo an amazing journey and they will compete against each other and be awarded points by celebrity judges and the audience until we crown our 1st 2014 DC's Dancing Champion.
Performace by Julia Nixon:Julia Nixon is a dynamic powerhouse singer with a four octave vocal range. Her magnetic showmanship and dynamic presence on stage has led to an impressive international career. She earned the role of Effie (replacing Jennifer Holliday) in the Broadway musical “Dream Girls”, as well as a Helen Hayes award for Best Actress in a Musical.

KHA is a pop soul singer and DC native, who has performed as a guest vocalist at the White House, Kennedy Center (with Stevie Wonder), Lincoln Memorial, and the Warner Theatre. She was also a featured soloist on the steps of the U.S. Capitol for President Clinton’s Second Inaugural Ceremony. With a vast vocal range and soulful tone, KHA sings with a voice that is often described as being smooth yet powerful.
